Donation Christmas Trees
In conjunction with the Burnside Village Shopping Centre and the City of Burnside, Christmas trees are erected in the foyer of the Council Chambers and outside of the Coles Supermarket inside the Burnside Village Shopping Centre.
At both locations the public are requested to donate non perishable food items and gifts for young children.
Club members are rostered to collect these gifts from the Christmas trees and deliver them to a number of aid agencies in Adelaide, including Anglicare, Uniting Care Wesley and St Lukes Mission for distribution to needy families for some festive cheer.
Anyone who has suitable items but cannot visit these Trees, and you live within or close to the Burnside Council area, we can collect such items and ensude delivery to one of the above agencies.
