Donation Christmas Trees

In conjunction with the Burnside Village Shopping Centre and the City of Burnside, Christmas trees are erected in the foyer of the Council Chambers and outside of the Coles Supermarket inside the Burnside Village Shopping Centre.

At both locations, From 2nd Dec to 24th Dec.,  the public are requested to donate non perishable food items, gifts for young children and for less well-off Adults.

Club members are rostered to collect these gifts from the Christmas trees and deliver them to a number of aid agencies in Adelaide, including Anglicare, Uniting Care Wesley and St Lukes Mission for distribution to needy families for some festive cheer.

Anyone who has suitable items but cannot visit these Trees, and you live within or close to the Burnside Council area, we can collect such items and ensure delivery to one of the above agencies.

There will also be a Donation Christmas Tree at the Carols this year and we will arrange delivery to those Agencies mentioned above. We welcome gifts from children to help fill the Christmas Stocking of those less advantaged.
